Problem:
Used Topdon Rlink X7 and GTS+ is unable to connect to a 2026 Toyota RAV4. GTS+ says i need a CAN-FD interface, topdon advertises that the X7 and J2534 are capable of CAN-FD.
The rlink software was very recently downloaded and installed. Rlink cable firmware was also updated during the installation.
Tried with only the Toyota driver installed as well.
Any idea?
Here is the clue.
The Toyota software was recently updated, and new features have caused this issue. You were able to use it normally before; the problem only started after updating to GTS+.
Topdon has also reproduced this issue and is currently working on making RLink compatible with the new GTS+ version.
