I am wondering if anyone has figured out a way to “bypass or unlock” the system to be able to use the Topdon ONE series scan tool as a regular android device along with the TOODON diagnostic software?
I have other tools like my Hantek oscilloscope and some other test equipment that I would like to be able to use with the tablet as well. There has got to be a way to get around this and unlock this system. I don’t care if it voids the warranty and I know that they lock it down for functionality and reliability purposes but I would like to be able to use this as more than just a scan tool.

That said, the TOPDON ONE is designed as a closed system, so unfortunately there isn’t a way to bypass or unlock it to use as a regular Android tablet or install third-party apps. It’s intentionally restricted to ensure stability, compatibility, and reliable diagnostic performance.
We know it might feel limiting, especially if you have other equipment you’d like to run on it, but at the moment it’s not something the device supports.
