What is the difference between Topdon ONE/ONE LITE and Phoenix Max/Smart? Topdon ONE is much cheaper.

They are not really comparable. The Phoenix Smart and Max are professional tools. The Phoenix Smart and Max have pretty much the same capabilities. The one is much lower.
For now, the Phoenix Max is still Topdon’s top-tier diagnostic tool. The new TOPDON ONE Series will be positioned between the Artidiag Series and the Phoenix Series. It’s a rockstar for online coding. However, it does not support online programming at this time. Phoenix Smart and Max support cloud-based online programming for BMW, Audi, VW, Benz, Kia, Skoda, Nissan, Hyundai, Seat, JLR, Honda, Subaru, Renault and Porsche brands.
Topdon ONE/ONE LITE programming needs to be done with a laptop with OE software and a j2534 passthru which comes with it. American and Asian programming we use factory pass-throughs for most of those and just get subscriptions.
Also neither is a key tool. Some keys are very basic and it will do those like some Hondas. But most keys required actual immobilizer tools. With the Phoenix Max/Smart, you can add the T-ninja box which adds some key programming and module cloning. The T-Ninja Box will not work with the Phoenix ONE/ONE LITE.
Topdon ONE does not work with ADAS add-on modules. Phoenix Smart/Max does.
User feedback:
Phoenix One is much faster and can do almost every the Smart can minus use the scopes and t ninja box. I personally would recommend the One over the Smart or Max if you don’t need those features.
