I bought a Topdon Artidiag900 lite diagnostic scanner nearly 2 years ago, so the licence is going to expire on 26th December 2025, will it all stop working or will it just not update.
Will I still be able to add manufacturers that I haven’t downloaded after that date?
Answer:
After the AD900 Lite software update expires, new versions released afterward cannot be updated (software released before the expiration can still be downloaded normally). Even if the subscription expires, most basic diagnostic functions on your device can still be used offline.
For example, you can read and clear trouble codes, view some live data streams, and perform basic functions that don’t require server authorization.
However, some advanced features—like programming, matching, adaptation, online coding, brand-level special functions that require server authorization, firmware updates, and software updates will not be available offline.
