Problem:
I’ve purchased a Topdon Rlink J2534 interface and i cannot install the Rlink Platform (both V3.30 and V2.72), it gives an error.
“Error! Can’t initialize plug-ins directly.”
I use Windows 11 64bit.

It looks like the issue happened because a non-Microsoft antivirus program mistakenly flagged one of the RLink Platform files. Here’s what we suggest:
1. Try turning off your antivirus temporarily and then reinstall the RLink Platform.
2. The RLink Platform is officially registered with Windows, so if you’re only using Windows Defender, installation usually goes smoothly.
3. Sometimes, when Windows updates its virus definitions or when the RLink Platform gets a new version, the registration info might not update right away — this can cause a false alarm and block the installation.
4. If you have third-party antivirus software installed, it may misidentify the RLink Platform because it’s not registered in their system.
Once you disable the antivirus and try again, it should install successfully.
