Topdon Rlink J2534 Chrysler Mopar J2534 ‘Device Not Connected’ Solution

Problem:

Got that Topdon Rlink J2534 to program a Sheriff depart2020 Dodge Durango after replacing the transmission.
The Mopar J2534 app is saying “device not connected”. According to Mopar Service Portal Tech Support, Witech 2.0 has been having issues and they don’t know when it will be fixed. But I am not finding any information from independent shops experiencing this problem?

 

 

Possible solution:

We recently found that on Windows 11 version 25H2, the Witech 2.0 software shows a “device not connected” error when used with any third-party J2534 device. We’ve already contacted Chrysler about this issue, but there’s no official response yet.
On Windows 11 version 24H2 and earlier, this problem does not occur.
If it’s the latest 25H2 version, please try rolling back to 24H2 or an earlier build to see if that resolves the issue.
